Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a progressive and comprehensive, age-appropriate sexuality education curriculum delivered by a team of trained facilitators. This ten-week program, for ages 9 to 11, invites young people to learn about and discuss the physical and emotional changes of puberty. Participants will examine topics such as values, sexuality, gender, health, consent, and communication. Each session includes a conversation activity for families to complete together.
The elementary age programs are designed to help children and youth make healthy and responsible decisions informed with facts and nuanced discussion. Parents attend an orientation session in which the goals, values and subject material of the program are explained. You can read more about the program on our website at vanu.ca/owl and click the button below to register.
