Children's Group

Children's Group, for ages 5 to 9, begins in the Sanctuary at 11 am and leaves together after the Wisdom Story. This is a place to build friendships and identity in an actively anti-oppressive setting. Activities, stories, games, and maker spaces explore the monthly Meaning Making themes from the perspectives of Heart, Head, and Hands.

The Meaning Making themes are also used in small group circles at VanU, bringing ideas together across all our generations. The monthly Family Newsletter includes connections, activities, and discussions to extend the making of meaning. Sign-up for the Family News and other VanU communications at vanu.ca/newsletters

Children up to age 12 are welcome to attend any Sunday, please fill out the visitor form before attending. Everyone must register if attending more than twice.
